Lab Goal
This is a recap of where we’ve been so far this term. I’ll ask you to grab your ebook files again, fire up InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and improve the quality of the materials overall.
Lab Materials
Your previous ebook materials.
Lab Procedure
Please use this time to update your ebook materials using the skills we’ve developed over the last month. Add more detail or more positioning to your character model(s), create page backgrounds in Photoshop, improve the text design, add content, whatever you feel you need to do.
One quick note on this lab before we close it up: we will begin using Character Animator soon, which will use the character files you’re making in Illustrator (or Photoshop, if you started working on the blanks provided in the last ebook lab). Please make sure you’re happy with those character models before you are done here. It’s not very difficult to edit them while you’re doing Character Animator work, but it does make the entire process more time consuming.
